About me

I was born 1946 in Gossau SG, where I finished school up to A-Matur. After that I studied applied psychology at the university of Fribourg. Early on I got interested in pictures and painting. At the age of 10 I won the second prize in a drawing contest with a horseman. For my younger brothers I drawed and painted a storybook. At the age of 16 I visited art museums for the first time during a stay in Paris, followed by further visits all over the world. As a psychologist I devoted myself to special pictures for more than 40 years. I came to be an expert on the Rorschach test (thousands of expert opinions in candidate selection, publication, potencial and personality). At the age of 65 I realized my old idea of painting after retirement. Autodidactically I started painting landscapes, birds and still lifes with pastel colours. So within 5 years about 150 pictures came into existence. In 2016 I painted flowers and started with portraits. 2013 and 2016 I exhibited about 40 pictures and received good feedback.
